Hello Friend’s and Follower’s,

I am going to take you on a three day journey through Copenhagen Fashion Week SS14. There are so many interesting events and festivals going on I wish I could take you to all of them all. But this season I decided to concentrate on selective shows and interesting events that I find will interest you.

First stop is the Margrethe Skolen Show at the City Hall which was pretty impressive for a school with a two year study program. The fashion show had an array of mystical pieces as well as clean and sleek white colors.

After the show FBN took a break to have a quick lunch and then headed back to Copenhagen Fashion Week Press Conference at the City Hall which was quite interesting and informal. I say informal because while trying to concentrate on the speeches I could hear the loud pounding music of the show going on beneath us which goes to show how much is happening  during Copenhagen fashion week.

There were welcoming speeches by Eva Kruse who is the director of  The Danish Fashion Institute and the CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week, Anna Mee Allerslev , the mayor of Employment & Integration and Jens Albirk the director of EV & Internal Affairs. I want to give thanks to Anna and Jens for taking the time to speak with me regarding fashion  import and trading.

At the press conference Eva announced their new partnership and collaboration with Tony & Guy, a London based hair salon company and trend forecaster of the hair industry.

We then head back downstairs of the city hall to view the opening show of menswear designer Asger Juel Larsen who graduated “top of the class” at London College of Fashion.

I didn’t forget about you “street fashion” lovers out there so stay tuned for photos of who attended the shows and who was outside expressing their fashion selfs.

After these events I finished off the evening with a concert from Catpower, an American singer-songwriter, musicain and occasional actress and model who performed at the Koncerthuset- Emil Holms Kanal 20 and it was so worth passing up all other events because what is fashion without music.

I  leave you with an announcement that Fashion Buzz Now is now writing exclusive stories for The Danish Pioneer Newspaper in Chicago and now has just added a Danish writer and correspondent for Fashion Buzz Now by the name of Julie Lindbald Thygesen. She will be attending shows for FBN so that we can share more with you this season. So while I love that you visit me here and follow my stories you are welcome to visit the fashion section for exclusive stories at The Danish Pioneer blog and fashion sections.

I look forward to sharing this week with you and hope you are enjoying your own fashion experiences.
